ULAB CSE Organized Seminar on the Digital Safety and Security

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) organized a Seminar titled ‘Digital Rights and Safety’  on June 19, 2023. The Keynote was given by independent law practitioner advocate of Supreme Court- Bangladesh Mr. Shahnewaj. 

The Seminar started with a welcome speech by Professor Dr. Muhammad Golam Kibria, the head of the Computer Science and Engineering, ULAB. The speaker Shahnewaj in his speech focused on the Digital Security ACT 2018 and its importance for Engineering students and professionals including how to maintain their safety online. Dr. Ahmed Abid concluded the seminar with a thank note to the key note speaker and the students and audience.  The discussion became more lively through the question and answer session of the researchers, guests, ULAB faculties and students participating in the seminar.
