Industry visit to the Horipur 412 MW by ULAB EEE Department

The EEE Department of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) successfully arranged an industry visit to the Horipur 412 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant of EGCB (Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh Limited) on July 27, 2023. The visit was powered by ULAB Electronics and Robotics Club (UERC) and ULAB IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (ULAB IEEE RAS).

A group of enthusiastic students from the EEE and CSE departments were accompanied by the faculty members during the visit. The students attended several seminars and took a guided tour around the combined cycle power plant. They gained practical knowledge of the operation and maintenance of combined cycle power plant and the functioning of the necessary auxiliary systems.
