C-SAS partners with the Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) for a Bilateral Knowledge Exchange
C-SAS partnered with the Center for Enterprise and Society (CES) at ULAB for a landmark initiative for a Bilateral Exchange of knowledge sharing between Bangladesh and India over March and April 2023.
The core purpose of this remarkable initiative, funded by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), was to promote diversity and pluralism.
As a part of the bilateral exchange, Prof. Sudeep Chakravarti, Director of C-SAS, visited the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi for a lecture-and-interaction based workshop on the topic 'BANGLADESH -- SINGULARLY PLURAL: Perception and Realities of a Rainbow Nation.'
In turn, Prof. Saugata Bhaduri of JNU visited ULAB to present the lecture/workshop: 'India, that is Bharat, Shall be a Union of States.
In addition, the noted author Ghazala Wahab also visited ULAB as a part of the CES - C-SAS joint program to speak on 'BORN A MUSLIM: Home Truths about Pluralism in India.'

C-SAS wishes to thank Sajid Amit, Director of CES, and all colleagues at CES, for this partnership and its outcome. This is in line with the C-SAS principle of orienting regional partnerships to secure positive futures in South Asia.
