ULAB all Stars Competition at Sales in cooperation with Robi held at ULAB
ULAB Career Services Office (CSO) in cooperation with Robi organized ULAB All Stars Competition at Sales on 21 March, 2017 at its City Campus.
ULAB CSO organized ULAB all Stars Competition at Sales among with 104 interested ULABian. 25 ULABians in 5 groups took part as ULAB All Star Competition at sales on 20-21st March and worked as Robi Brand promoter at ULAB Cam-A & Cam-B Lobby.
The Five Teams: Paragons, Splendor, Spring, Anything, Groxic attended training to master sales essential skills which helped to flourish their relevant talent to sales Robi product like 3G Internet, Robi TV, Robi Music Yonder, Robi New Prepaid KIT especially for the students who needs to surprise their friends through communications. These are the skills which are generally not imparted to students during their regular academic life.
Professor Imran Rahman, Vice-chancellor gave the welcome speech and thanked ULABins for participating such exciting event.
Chief Guest Mr. Biplob Banerjee, General Manager, Central Cluster Market (Robi) Market Operation, Robi Axiata Limited shared his sales experience. He said,” Students must come out of the box and flourish their individual talent on sales and other aspect of life. Opportunities are very high for those who are passionate about career as sales. Those who stars their career as sales has a great chance to become a CEO or work in a Sr position of a company in the long run.
Five team leaders of each groups shared their hands-on sales experience, learning and excitement of two days.
The winning team was Splendor as a sales volume and overall performance. Chief Guest Mr. Banerjee handed over the special Robi goody bag to the best sales team members.
Professor H M Jahirul Haque, Pro Vice Chancellor, ULAB handed over the crest to the chief guest.
Abu Hena Md Rasel, director of Career Services Office, Md. Ariful Islam, Manager, Robi and Md. Mashiur Rahman, Specialist, Robi were also present along with the faculty members and admin members of ULAB. The Professional Paragons-volunteers group, students from across the department were present during the program.
