ULAB participation in ‘Nation Leader Summit’ at Jahangirnagar University

ULAB CSO has attended ‘National Leaders Summit’ held at Jahir Raihan Auditorium, Jahangirnagar University on February 25, 2017 with a team of very enthusiastic students. The Event has organized by Jahangirnagar University Career Club and supported by ULAB Career Services Office.

The National Leaders Summit was about the ins and outs of career from startup to large organization; about the growth and success. The leaders from across the industry such as BAT, Nestle, Save the Children, Action aid, Trust Bank, City Bank, Ministry of food and sports, GSK, Reckitt Benckiser, Oxfam, United Bank, Akij Group, Grameenphone and Pran came forward and share their experiences.

The well designed participatory sessions were absolutely made the summit the space of attraction to participants. The industry leaders presented their valuable speeches regarding the pitfalls of career and leadership skills. Additionally the live interviews with head of HRs from the leading organizations helped career seekers sharpen their knowledge of facing interview. The main objective was to help the career seekers provide with a guideline to plan their career in the desired area and dissemination of information about career and leadership opportunities in Bangladesh.

The Summit delivered and gave participants a major jump start in their campaign to find relevant employment upon graduation or higher studies. It was both very enjoyable and informative; the insights will help our students in many ways.
